NVidia has just announced a new portable gaming console, known as “Project Shield.”
Reportedly, it is capable of playing your PC games while on the go and looks reminiscent of an XBOX 360 controller. The attached screen is 5″ and features multi-touch and a “retina-like” display and can be detached from the controller.
It will be powered by Google Android on the software side and the newly announced Tegra4 SoC on the hardware side.
Pricing was not announced at this time.
